problem install firefoxFirefox install problem.Pls help?

i previously used firefox then i started using IE7 and i uninstalled firefox.Then i recently downloaded firefox but it went to my previous settings and it had my previously installed add ons.I dont know whether it is my system problem or not but my firefox browser was very slow and this was my main reason for uninstall.But now i want to try firefox 2.0 but i want to install it as i would install a new software not just as an update to the earlier software.

My problem is though i uninstalled and reinstalled firefproblem install firefoxox it detected my earlier settings but i dont want it to detect.Pls provide help about how to install it as a fresh software.Thanx
What you want to do is delete your firefox profile. To delete your firefox profile, you first need to start profile manager (with firefox installed, if it's not already installed).

Click start, then run, the type in exactly: firefox -ProfileManager
Then click okay. Select the only profile there is, and click delete, whatever the name may be. It'll probably be "Default" but iproblem install firefoxt may be different.

the folder where u had installed it delete it
well i m using firefox 2 n i feel its beter coz it uses less ram
To remove previous settings, use Profile manager .

First Firefox has to be installed :


Then Click Start>Run
Type " firefox -ProfileManager "
Click OK

It will show the installed profiles. Delete the old one and start Firefox
