Im looking for a book that has wise sayings in it. A good book with short quotes in it. Like little sayings in them.
Serious one. And also books of sad poems or the loss of loved ones. So a really good general book that has these in them. And The other with wise things. I hope you understand what Im trying to ask for

I would suggest The Penguin Dictionary of Quotations (or something similar; sure that Webster has it as well) - it has meaningful, or wise quotations nicely subdivided according to topic or theme or you can look it up by a key word. When I was teenager, I thought Omar Khaijan was the alove and sadness quotesbsolute supreme, or Herman Hesse. Full of "wisdom", though a bit broody/cheesy/teenage angst stuff by today's standards
Barlett's Familiar quotations is a good one. They also have seperate books for Shakespeare, the Bible, and anecdotes. Your library or local bookstore probably has tons you can leaf through. If that's not an option go to Amazon.com and put "quotations" in the search buffer. Amazon always has great descriptions and reviews.

expression web templates business freeWeb designing from scratch..?
Hey, I'm planning on creating an e-business site for clothing for my uncle. I want to start from scratch but it seems very intimidating. I can put something together on Dreamvever or Expression studio but it does not compare to the flashy websites on the web right now. Do you think it's better off to work off a Template online or is that taking the easy way out.
If I work of a free template online, do you think it is a good way to go?

These cms (content management system) have thousands of addons, and most of them don't cost a dime. You can add them to joomla / wordpress etc easily by the click of a button.
Unless you want to spend the next 5 years programming, I would suggest using a CMS.

I just finished doing a search on YA and there are a whole lot of posts about Dan Fogelberg's passing, and I actually read through most of them and the majority, like me, have been very touched by him over the years. I actually posted a message on YA last night around 11:00 after I read about it while I was online. I can't even imagine a world without him and any new music that I'm sure he would have written. Fortunately we will always have the music he did create while he was with us. My younger years are filled with memories of his incredible music. I don't really remember exactly how or where I "discovered" him - I like to think he discovered me. He so touched me. Even though I didn't know him personally, I feel like he knew me because the way he wrote was just the way I thodan fogelberg deathught and felt. His kind of talent is almost non-existent anymore. As far as I'm concerned, he is one of the most gifted and talented artists of my generation. Such a beautiful human being. The world is less now. My heart is hurting. Yes, it has made me think a lot today about how very short this life is on this earth. It makes it all that more precious. I just wish we could all treat each other with that same sense of how special and precious we all are.
I asked a similiar question a couple of months ago, also - he was a great musician and an exceptional human being. He'll always be rememberd. Here's to the Leader of the Band. RIP Dan
I'll miss his music. His songs were (and still are) a big part of my life. It's sad there won't be any more music from him.

I have the song "Same Auld Lang Syne" on my cell phone as a ringtone. I was sad to hear that he died. He was one of my favorite artists back in the day.
I remember him, wasn't much of a fan but others loved his songs.
I fear he never accepted salvation. He said in the song "Part of the Plan:"
"There is no Eden, no Heavenly gates
That you're going to make it to one day"
I pray he changed his mind between the time he wrote these lyrics and December 16, 2007.
It saddened me when I heard about it. I grew up listening to him, he was one of my Mother's favorites.

I've just checked me weight on the wii and i've lost five pounds (WOOP!! Five down, 11 to go). It said my BMI is 19.87.
I weigh 9.5 (133 pounds), I'm female and I am 5'8.5 :)

I'll tell you your on your way to weight loss success, accorhealthy weight calculatording to the BMI scale your weight is in the normal range. 18.5-24.9 is the normal range which is healthy. Since your going to be losing 11 pounds you'd still be healthy but it's best to lose 7 pounds instead of 11 because you don't want your overall BMI to slip due to over weight loss. To lose the extra weight I would recommend you to attempt cardiovascular activhealthy weight calculatorities 15-30 minutes 2-4 times a week such as running, swimming, biking, stair climbing and dancing. Avoid the unhealthy foods and select healthy foods frequently.
I think the bad range for bmi starts around 30, so you're good. You should consder a diet and workout program.

some ppl say that if your due date is close to a full moon day or new moon day your baby will most likely come a little earlier or later depending if your due date is before or after that moon change date. Who believes that? I don't really.
No. I don't believe the full moon, or new moon, specifically effects birth one way or another.
Though, in some cultures, they believe a woman carries her child for 10 moons. So, if you conceived on a full moon it's more likely that you'll give birth during one, and same for any other phase. I'd believe that one mdates changes moonore.
With my first baby, I was scheduled to be induced on the night of a full moon. I got there, and they had NO empty beds--apparently half the city of Detroit decided to go into labor that night because of the moon. :) They told me to come back in a few hours, lol. I firmly believe the full moon/tides has something to do with naturally inducing labor!

I can't confirm whether this has anything to do with religion, but if you imagine that they're singing to Jesus Christ, it kinda works. I got my dog post house trained so she pees outside, but the problem is that she pees right outside my window so when a gust of air blows in, it smells like dog pee. How bad is this for me and how do I train her to pee anywhere but that spot?

I don't know of any negative health effects... but gagging everdog peey time the wind blows is pretty awful too. ;)
It's pretty easy to redirect your dog to a new spot. Take him out to pee on a leash to a spot on the far end of your yard each & every time he goes out. It will quickly become his new routine.

I know a guy who says appearance doesn't matter to him as much as personality, which is total bullshit. He's turned down the few larger girls who've come onto him. He would even avoid being seen with them if he could- it was like they were worthless in his eyes, and their personalities were far better than his ex-girlfriend's. It's obvious he'd rather be in a relationship with a hot bitchy girl than a fat or average looking girl who has an amazing personality. I just don't understand why people lie and say appearance doesn't matter as much as personality.
Because most people (60-75%) have average looks (5-7 on the attractiveness scale), and personality then does a great deal to stir sexual desire.

**Most of my favorites tend to be early risers, like Mori, While others like Komui Lee are probably not morning person. I really like Komui because he has many of my characteristics, hates cleaning, lazy, doesn't like to work, loves to nap, sadistic, borderline maniacal, and so on. However, I do not have a sister complex and try to kill any guy who even looks at my sis in a certain way.

**hmmm, let's see I have so many favorite characters. Let's see, I think that Komui Lee, from D. Grey-Man, probably dreams about making a bigger, better, indestructible Komurin. His nightmares probably consist of being forced to clean and watch his sister getting married at the same time while his Komurin is destroyed, that and maybe his coffee being taken away!

**Another of my favorite characters is Mori from Ouran High School Host Club and when this usually stoic, stern, silent guywhen you can't sleep quotes gets sleepy, and I mean extremely sleepy, He turns into a talkative, flirtatious kind of guy. And if you know who Mori is, that is just plain creepy. (this is from the manga extra chapter 21.5)

**HECK, NO! You wouldn't find me up earlier than 10:00-11:00 a.m., I am one of those people who is a night owl, and definitely not an early worm.

**Most of my favorites tend to be early risers, like Mori, While others like Komui Lee are probably not morning person. I really like Komui because he has many of my characteristics, hates cleaning, lazy, doesn't like to work, loves to nap, sadistic, borderline maniacal, and so on. However, I do not have a sister complex and try to kill any guy who even looks at my sis in a certain way.

My boyfriend and I are planning on moving out of Florida to Canada. The weather isn't much of an issue more of financial. Were both in our 20's still in College what would be the best place to live looking at Universities, decent living prices (homes), good locations (little crime and problems), things to do, shopping and cost of living in general, and most importantly speaking no french (we only speak english). Thanks in advance
The only province that is truly off your list would be Quebec, since you said that "most importantly speaking no french". New Brunswick has a high French population too, but most also speak English so, I would not cross that off your list.
There are good universities all across Canada, you just have to compare them and see what you are looking for in terms of your graduate or academic program that you are interested in. You can use the Maclean's Magazine Best Universities info to perhaps give you a comparison.
The cities that have the highest cost of living (rent, food, etc) are Toronto, Vancouver, Montreal, Ottawa, and Calgary. Renting in areas around Fort McMurray and Edmonton are also expensive mainly because there are not enough homes to keep up with the demand. However, if you find that you like these cities, there is always the option to live in a suburb and commute or to look at apartments in parts of town that may not be as convenient or as modern.
Crime in Canada is not high. Here are violent crime statistics for some cities in Florida (rated per 100,000 people):
Jacksonville: 996
Tampa: 883

Kingston. Its big enough to be considered a city yet small enough to have a "small town" atmosphere. Downtown is gorgeous and Kingston is right next to lake Ontario. Its conveniently placed 3 hours from several major cities, 3hrs from Toronto, 2 hours from Ottawa, and 3 hours from Montreal. Also relatively close to the US border. Kingston is home to Queens University, one of the best in Canada, also St Lawrence college, and and the Royal Military College. Reasonably priced housing, and prices in the city. Overall, nice location, nice city, great place to live
Despite some of the ridiculous answers above...I'd say come to Hamilton, Ontario (where I live)! It is a medium-sizedbest location live canada city with a population of about 1.5 million people and we have lots of affordable housing. The proximity is great, close to everything (40 minute drive to Toronto and about a 30 minute drive to the US border). And Hamilton has everything you'll want and need, and if you have a car it is ideal! However, you don't really need one here because we have an excellent public transportation system. Oh, and I won't forget to mention - we have one of the best universities in Canada just over in West Hamilton (McMaster University)! Trust me, give Hamilton a try - I was born in Ottawa, lived in Montreal for 10 years, Toronto for 3, and I find Hamilton a great fit! And yes, we do have a VERY HIGH crime rate (bank robberies, car theft, drugs, prostitutes, etc.) but nothing to be scared of - just avoid the North End and the East End and you'll be fine!

But make sure you don't go to st.johns. lots of crime there just go to makinsons,bay roberts or carbonear. we have collegiates here(colleges) and also Memorial University. *M.U.N*Newfoundland is a great province. hope you move here! The homes here are about like 300 dollars. heating and stuff 50 dollars. Shopping in carbonear mall is great. lots of variety's. and in st.johns,*ps dont live there as i said very much crime* just go to a mall Called The avalon mall or The village mall. Lots of great stuff to do here. Also,price of living in general is about 430 dollars. Hope I helped PS. My name is felicia too!!

I have a family member with bipolar. I don't know why they do this, but I have seen it as well. I guess they are just so confused and unhappy that they can't help it. Hopefully the correct meds will help with that.
Perhaps it's because they don't feel worthy of your love. In a depressed state, I put myself down in very critical ways. I feel worthless. I know I've said things I regret, but it's just a defense mechanism. Call he/she out on it and they'll love you forever. why do bipolar people lie
That is not a behavior exclusive to people with Bipolar Disorder, just as many peopel who do not have Bipolar lie to get out of relationships. There isn't a specific name for it when Beepers do that... anymore than there is a name for when "normal" people do it. People fall out of love also..... sucks but it happens. Do not lay this at the feet of Bipolar..... Just because someone is Bipolar does not mean that everything they do and everything they say and everything they are is from the Bipolar.
Maybe this person lied because they wanted to let you down easy...... maybe they lied because they though the lie would hurt you less than the truth..... matbe they lied because they are a liar.....

opiate withdrawal sneezingHow long before I am free of codeine addiction withdrawal symptoms?
Six weeks ago, I realised I had got myself addicted to Boots own paracetamol and codeine tablets - 6/8 a day taken regular as clockwork for at least eight years. I stopped immediately and went cold turkey. I suffered all of the classic opiate withdrawal symptoms: muscle ache, tiredness and exhaustion, sneezing, itching, yawning and anxiety, but I think the worst is over (NB my GP said he would not have recommended cold turkey but said now I had started I should carry on). I still get very tired and exhausted and yawn a lot, and I am sick of it. Can anyone tell me when I reasonably expect to be back to normal and withdrawal symptom free?
After the initial withdrawal, it can take up to three months for your body to start reproducing, endorhpins and dopamine. These are neurotransmitters that produce feelings of well being, Opiate addiction depletes the bodys capacity to produce these, and other neurotransmitters, and hormones. Stick with it , you'll soon turn the corner. M.

I am afraid the potential for addiction of both over the counter co-codamol and the prescribed tablets, some of which have even more codeine, is grossly underestimated by the medical profession. You have my sympathy. I fought a pretty thankless battle to get prescribing locally reduced, even with the help of the local pharmacy prescribing advisor, for 15 years, before I retired.
They are often started in hospital when patients are in patients, and then continued by the GPs indefinitely!
There are no easy pharmacological alternatives to aid the withdrawal process, and fo this particular drug, I usually advised gradual withdrawal. Cold turkey is unpleasant but often useful. Unfortunately doctors have been taught that it is not a PC method of dealing with addiction.
However when I worked for the Scottish Prison Service as a PMO, it was the method preferred by many opiate addicts!
Sorry I almost forgot to answer your question! I would have thought physical withdrawal should not taopiate withdrawal sneezingke more than a week, unfortunately psychological withdrawal has no real measurable timescale.
I've been there although mine was only a 6 month usage. I weaned myself down over 2 weeks and I guess it to OK a good 2-3 months after stopping completely before I started feeling like I had the same energy levels. It might be longer for you as you were on them so long but ask your Dr if its ok to use an energy drink mid day to pep you up although I guess this could be swapping one fix for another. It could also be that youre 8 years older and would have been finding yourself more tired even without having become addicted...you just wouldnt have noticed it creeping up on you over 8 years.
I think there needs to be a much bigger warning on these paracetamol/codeine tablets to alert people. My brand were a chemists own brand and carried no warning but I bought them from Lloyd's the one day and I noticed a warning, that's when I realised I was probably a little dependant on them.

I am looking to design a Flash Website or a website to have Flash features and prefer to use WYSIWYG programs. I have designed regular HTML sites and very handy graphically speaking when it comes to standard "static" design but don't have the time to learn Flash nor the funds to drop $1,000 on Dreamweaver and Adobe Flash Design.
I found a program called A4 Desk Pro and it is fairly straight forward and easy but it doesn't let you fully customize the templates it provides. All it allows you to do is select different colors and plug in your text. I am looking for a little more than that. Any help is appreciated.
