dog peeHow bad is dog pee and how to I train my dog to pee somewhere else?

I got my dog post house trained so she pees outside, but the problem is that she pees right outside my window so when a gust of air blows in, it smells like dog pee. How bad is this for me and how do I train her to pee anywhere but that spot?
Get the hose or a bucket of water with disinfectant and wash the area under your window.
I don't know of any negative health effects... but gagging everdog peey time the wind blows is pretty awful too. ;)


It's pretty easy to redirect your dog to a new spot. Take him out to pee on a leash to a spot on the far end of your yard each & every time he goes out. It will quickly become his new routine.
Not sure what the negatives would be for you, but you can go to Petsmart or Petco, and buy pee stakes. You put them in the ground where you want youdog peer dog to go, and it releases something that makes your dog want to pee on it.
When she pees outside soak it with some hand towel and take it to the spot you want her to go to the toilet and take her there and let her sniff it

If that is inconvenient, then keep window closed, if you don't want to smell it.
