some ppl say that if your due date is close to a full moon day or new moon day your baby will most likely come a little earlier or later depending if your due date is before or after that moon change date. Who believes that? I don't really.
No. I don't believe the full moon, or new moon, specifically effects birth one way or another.
Though, in some cultures, they believe a woman carries her child for 10 moons. So, if you conceived on a full moon it's more likely that you'll give birth during one, and same for any other phase. I'd believe that one mdates changes moonore.
With my first baby, I was scheduled to be induced on the night of a full moon. I got there, and they had NO empty beds--apparently half the city of Detroit decided to go into labor that night because of the moon. :) They told me to come back in a few hours, lol. I firmly believe the full moon/tides has something to do with naturally inducing labor!
I've heard that about full moons, I talked to my doctor and he said the L&D rooms fill up on full moons. He said the moon has pull over water, for example the tide, but the moon can pull on a glass ofdates changes moon water so if your water sac is low enough it can pull on it and cause it to break.
i do especially from past experience, the moon changes the elevation and gravitation when its big and orange, (i dont see how but, reasearch says), and the baby becomes lower, and lower, so yeah i believe in that since it happend with my baby girl Neveah. :]
As an L&D nurse, I can tell you that it certainly feels busier than usual when it's a full moon. But you aren't going to go into labor JUST BECAUSE it's a full moon.
